After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Witalis Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Witlatschil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwo Sawicki. José Maria Goiano stood somewhat misplaced when Pentti Ojala came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pentti Ojala, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute Witalis Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Witlatschil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 26th minute. When Gaizka Mendieta fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiger's protests and gave Gaizka Mendieta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tiger getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gaizka Mendieta hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Tiger defense, Kalle Billberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josef Witlatschil. The Tiger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josef Witlatschil should have stopped the shot. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pentti Ojala in the 38th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christo Bothenhain, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The Tiger fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Tiger's Pentti Ojala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Pentti Ojala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Goiano came out of the goal and Pentti Ojala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witalis Brysz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Zeng Xu Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Christo Bothenhain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Christo Bothenhain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute of the match, Kalle Billberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josef Witlatschil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zeng Xu Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Josef Witlatschil made a huge save. Pentti Ojala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Goiano having to interfere. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Rudolf Speed. The supporters of Tiger booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christo Bothenhain, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Kalle Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christo Bothenhain hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Kalle Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tiger had won after a very even match.
