The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Benet got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. LA MAQUINA F.C were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Frontera AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Jeraldo took the corner. After taking down the ball on LA MAQUINA F.C's corner Dalmacio Jeraldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chiquinho Romero quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Benet in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, LA MAQUINA F.C's Dalmacio Jeraldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Benet got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Chiquinho Romero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dalmacio Jeraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Romero made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Frontera AFC's Edison Cavani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Niguel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Laureano Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Merentiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Matia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Romero made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Edison Cavani put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Laureano Niguel. Alberto Márcico struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Laureano Niguel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. If Alberto Márcico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Edison Cavani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA MAQUINA F.C's Laureano Niguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Edison Cavani put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Laureano Niguel. After the first half Frontera AFC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Jeraldo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edison Cavani in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Niguel saved LA MAQUINA F.C from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Jonas Gilen threw the ball into play from the sideline. LA MAQUINA F.C's Patricio Egun quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 59 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Benet came free, but Chiquinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Egun. Patricio Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Leoni in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Gilen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Merentiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Edison Cavani put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Laureano Niguel. Laureano Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Cucao in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Matia. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Marco Leoni notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Laureano Niguel managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Frontera AFC's Miguel Merentiel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manuel Dolfos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Edison Cavani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Frontera AFC played a much better game than LA MAQUINA F.C and deserved their victory. The LA MAQUINA F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
