The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Salvador Incendio came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Simbo FC's Jonas Brion. But to his dismay, Jonas Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Felipe Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Neron got free with Salvador Incendio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Neron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Salvador Incendio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Felipe Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Brion in the 17th minute of the match. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Salvador Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Brion in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Jonas Brion notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Salvador Incendio. Salvador Incendio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Segundo Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Carlos-Mario Monclús hit a great ball. Jonas Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Salvador Incendio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Elazar in the 37th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Octavio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Mouricio charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Mouricio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Neron struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Salvador Incendio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbo FC. Mauro Tano's late challenge caught a Simbo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Tano helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Loco was the one to do the kick off. When Alfonso Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simbo FC's protests and gave Alfonso Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Isusko to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Elias Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Palos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Incendio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Segundo Neron struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Salvador Incendio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbo FC. In the 74th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Mario Monclús to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match Segundo Neron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salvador Incendio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Salvador Incendio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Neron in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Incendio saved ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting behind. Salvador Incendio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Brion in the 87th minute of the match. Elias Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Simbo FC had played much better football throughout.
