In the 21stth minute of the game Felipe Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Florencio Berbiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb defense, Felipe Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Berbiz. The Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Berbiz should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Javiero in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Romelio saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. The supporters of Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Casimiro Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Javiero was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Romelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th match minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Liberto. Florencio Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Jakue in the 77th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Paulo Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Flores's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Berbiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gallardeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb the free kick. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
