Angelino Rios hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Juan Olando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Lanus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★Independiente Ψ★ the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Club Atletico Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Olando to maneuver through the defense. Astor Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Astor Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Cordero in the 12th minute of the match. Club Atletico Lanus's Astor Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Cordero in the 14th minute of play. Astor Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Frascuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Francisco Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the ★Independiente Ψ★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Geleberto couldn't finish the play. Astor Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Cordero in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Victorio Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Astor Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Dionisio Aureo tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Astor Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Frascuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Aureo scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Teofilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half ★Independiente Ψ★ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Cordero made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Frascuelo in the 51st minute of play forced Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Astor Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Arnoldo Frascuelo took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Astor Teofilio to make any attempt to save it. Silvio Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Torres in the 57th minute of play. Silvio Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Cordero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Teofilio. That made the score 0-5 in the 71 minute of play. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Dionisio Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Dionisio Aureo made a precise shot to the right of Astor Teofilio. Club Atletico Lanus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 81st minute, Andres Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Teofilio having to interfere. Juan Olando kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Astor Teofilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute Isidoro Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Club Atletico Lanus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ★Independiente Ψ★ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
