Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Deivid Ferraz kicked off to start the match. If Dwayne Voss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Deivid Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compostela FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Charles Town's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Vítor Neto was slow to take the kick. During this time Compostela FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cesinha Paraense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Charles Town's Rickie Knapp did a great save. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when Charles Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Blankenship didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Charles Town were awarded a corner. Roger Bearden went to the cornerflag to take it. Charles Town's Roger Bearden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but André Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rickie Knapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bernardo Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dinei Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Charles Town booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Compostela FSCMZ's Murillo de Carvalho was substituted for Dinei Gonçalves. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bryan Simons to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Charles Town booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Art Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, DeMarcus McDaniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Charles Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by DeMarcus McDaniel to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Art Zamora notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's André Toledo. André Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charles Town made a substitution. Mervin Doss replaced Roger Bearden. 78 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Simons came free, but André Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dwayne Voss took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Toledo. André Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bryan Simons struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. André Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charles Town. A collision led to Compostela FSCMZ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Hugo Diniz hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Compostela FSCMZ defense, Dwayne Voss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Toledo. The Compostela FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Toledo should have stopped the shot.

Charles Town's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
