In the 3rd minute of the match, Indiana Jones tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vicky Donda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cayetano Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Vicky Donda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jyrki Sillanpää. Jyrki Sillanpää could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Vicky Donda made a huge save. Vicky Donda was a little too slow when Jyrki Sillanpää got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Haritzeder in the 16th minute of play. Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Genovese might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Aguilera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Genovese ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Ugutz came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Aguilera came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz. But to his dismay, Casimiro Ugutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Feliciano Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 35th minute of the match. Ciro Osasun hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes of play, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Aguilera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Los Hijos de Doña Beija getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Andrea Pirlo hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Indiana Jones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cibran Piedra kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Casimiro Ugutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Aguilera having to make a save. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Jyrki Sillanpää cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vicky Donda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 64th minute of the match. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes, Indiana Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hijos de Doña Beija and the Nouvelle Vague players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Indiana Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nouvelle Vague made a substitution. Osmar Vale replaced Vito Genovese. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Luís Fábio Rocha replaced Indiana Jones. Nouvelle Vague's Osmar Vale suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Venancio Sandaili fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos de Doña Beija's protests and gave Venancio Sandaili a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. Luis Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Higinio Aguilera made a huge save. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Abelardo Domenec was substituted for Venancio Sandaili. Luis Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Brion in the 91st minute of play forced Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Barros. Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
