In the 5th minute Nelsinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Barra Gol managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when PEÇONHENTO FC MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Nelsinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Karlo got free with Barra Gol in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol got control of the ball when Aureliano Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Barra Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Karlo. Aureliano Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 36th minute of play forced PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Barra Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Tarcisio Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Delassus in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Emanuel Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Vigil to strike the kick off in the second half. Barra Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Karlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Vigil. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu de Andrade got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Delassus kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Barra Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 65th minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Luz in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vigil came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barra Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 72nd minute of play. If Romulo Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Jan Hop replaced Wojciech Fiszer. PEÇONHENTO FC MG made a substitution. Peter Paul Crouch replaced Emanuel Vigil. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Fabiano Munhoz was substituted for Tony Tavares. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Paul Vase put in a rough tackle. Paul Vase kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Gabriel Delassus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Eztebe skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Roberto Eztebe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 85 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Beckham. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Delassus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Nelsinho Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu de Andrade hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Germano Bettencourt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Germano Bettencourt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Barra Gol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. AFC FUSION were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PEÇONHENTO FC MG for a fine match.
