The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Urtzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moises Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Misaki in the 6th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Los Muchachos del 86's Saverio Brion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Montana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Tom Misaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atahan Balon came out of the goal and Tom Misaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Tom Misaki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atahan Balon was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Brion in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Montana saved C.A.Independiente from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Ambrosio Ovando made a precise shot to the right of Atahan Balon. Los Muchachos del 86's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Antonio Montana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 24th minute of play. C.A.Independiente's Antonio Montana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Soon in the 25th minute of play. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Misaki's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Cristian Urtzi got a free kick in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Márcico came free, but Antonio Montana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Misaki's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. Atahan Balon made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ambrosio Ovando sent off a good shot on target. Tom Misaki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Atahan Balon made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Misaki in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Asiz Soon hit a great ball. Antonio Montana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Soon in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ricardo-Enrique Bochini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Montana having to interfere. When C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Muchachos del 86's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Beto Márcico hit a great ball. Ignacio Furman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Antonio Montana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Misaki in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Atahan Balon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 93 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Honesto came free, but Antonio Montana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Muchachos del 86! Atahan Balon had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Bernardino Gonsalve's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 98th minute, Fabio Bencivenni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Montana was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Los Muchachos del 86 were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
