After 5 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Constancio. 9 minutes into the game, Saverio Brion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hugo Orlando Gatti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atahan Balon having to interfere. In the 20th minute Hernan Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo-Enrique Bochini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Quinton came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Vicente Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saverio Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Saverio Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Saverio Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Muchachos del 86's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Orlando Gatti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saverio Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Saverio Brion made the kick off in the second half. Atahan Balon had great luck who in the 51stth minute grab hold of the ball when Vicente Santana from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Vicente Santana did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Atahan Balon 55 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Asiz Soon. After some careless play in the Los Muchachos del 86 defense, Vicente Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atahan Balon. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atahan Balon should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Azevedo. Vicente Santanas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Atahan Balon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Los Muchachos del 86 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Consejo del Mate's performance. The match ended with a win for Consejo del Mate.
