Gil Coelho made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gil dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Falcão Marques scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Leão to maneuver through the defense. Gil Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna in the 27th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Rick Cabezon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falcão Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gil Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Adalberto Vianna notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho. Gil Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adalberto Vianna took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Coelho. In the 82nd minute Adalberto Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil dos Santos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Marques in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Vianna came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Gil Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 90th minute of play.
