Maximiliano Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Dante in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Sinbosteros's Maximiliano Tab got control of the ball when Nicky Stapleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Maximiliano Tab successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Stapleton got free with Maximiliano Tab in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sinbosteros's Maximiliano Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sinbosteros from getting a goal against them. Sinbosteros were furious when Tomas Orlanda was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Sinbosteros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charles Town:s goal. Maximiliano Tab had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Jose Manuel Adan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Hector Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinbosteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Fowler having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicky Stapleton to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Samuel Jakobe from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Tyrone Fowler's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Dante in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Tab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charles Town made a substitution. Șerban Balaban replaced Igor Czciborek. Tyrone Fowler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sinbosteros's Carlos Ospetsu was substituted for Ariel Alfonso. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Charles Town lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
