In the 9th minute, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Andrea Giorda seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrea Giorda the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kalatakaya F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrea Giorda had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 9 minutes into the game, one of Kalatakaya F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Justo Mano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 15th minute Nickolai Skivild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Deportivo Empate's Nickolai Skivild nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Galarza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolai Skivild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Helmut Gutiérrez. Justo Mano, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Beniamin Bendyk notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza. Luis Galarza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Kristoffer Martinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Recep Guftar. In the 36th minute, Eriberto Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristoffer Martinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Recep Guftar in the 43rd minute. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolai Skivild, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Recep Guftar to make the kick off. If Recep Guftar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Luis Galarza managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Deportivo Empate's Nickolai Skivild fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 61st minute Deportivo Empate were awarded a corner. Justo Mano went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Beniamin Bendyk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luis Galarza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Guftar came free, but Kristoffer Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingmar Wiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Galarza having to interfere. Ingmar Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Luis Galarza made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Benito Lluterio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kristoffer Martinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Galarza was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Ingmar Wiman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingmar Wiman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When Jair Reinoso came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kalatakaya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jair Reinoso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Antonello Da Messina got a free kick in the 86th minute. Luis Galarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Wiman in the 87th minute of the match. Kristoffer Martinsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jair Reinoso went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Recep Guftar struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Kristoffer Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalatakaya F.C.. 97 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Jair Reinoso came free, but Kristoffer Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Empate eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
