Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reima Kaukomaa took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reima Kaukomaa in the 4th minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Esa Välimäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Reima Kaukomaa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esa Välimäki was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. If Reima Kaukomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the game, Reima Kaukomaa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esa Välimäki. Reima Kaukomaa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Reima Kaukomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Esa Välimäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esa Välimäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvo Lähitie, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Rami Miinalainen took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esa Välimäki. Esa Välimäki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 27 minutes of play, Karhulan Veikot's Reima Kaukomaa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esa Välimäki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juhani Sorsamäki made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Orvo Meltoranta however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Reima Kaukomaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esa Välimäki came out of the goal and Reima Kaukomaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reima Kaukomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reima Kaukomaa struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Esa Välimäki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karhulan Veikot. Reima Kaukomaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esa Välimäki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reima Kaukomaa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reima Kaukomaa got free with Esa Välimäki in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Karhulan Veikot's Reima Kaukomaa in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galand FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Reima Kaukomaa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galand FC's Esa Välimäki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Reima Kaukomaa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karhulan Veikot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reima Kaukomaa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eetu Mikkonen to make the kick off. Toivo Hedberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orvo Meltoranta in the 56th minute. Reima Kaukomaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esa Välimäki having to make a save. If Reima Kaukomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yrjö Nylund fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galand FC's protests and gave Yrjö Nylund a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galand FC! When Orvo Meltoranta came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Galand FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orvo Meltoranta couldn't finish the play. 7-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Reima Kaukomaa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Juhani Sorsamäki charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juhani Sorsamäki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karhulan Veikot booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juhani Sorsamäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Reima Kaukomaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karhulan Veikot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There was no doubt that Karhulan Veikot were the better team. Karhulan Veikot's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
