Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Berthold Köhler kicked off to start the match. Salomon Kaloudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berthold Köhler in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Vorwärts Lübeck's Jean-Baptiste Lasogga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerome Pflügge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Jerome Pflügge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomaso Grupe in the 12th minute of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jean-Baptiste Lasogga sped through Blau Weiß Sauerland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerome Pflügge. Jerome Pflügge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Leopold, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jean-Baptiste Lasogga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jerome Pflügge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Jean-Baptiste Lasogga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerome Pflügge. The goal made the score 3-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blau Weiß Sauerland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 36 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's Jean-Baptiste Lasogga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Pflügge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tomaso Grupe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerome Pflügge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Baptiste Lasogga's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean-Baptiste Lasogga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerome Pflügge. That made the score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Baptiste Lasogga made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Marten Bienstock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Lasogga put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jerome Pflügge. Marten Bienstock charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marten Bienstock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marten Bienstock hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jerome Pflügge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Baptiste Lasogga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markus Wagner kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jerome Pflügge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferit Port in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Baptiste Lasogga in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerome Pflügge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wolfgang Burgmeier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salomon Kaloudis having to make a save. Jerome Pflügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Baptiste Lasogga in the 88th minute of the match. Tomaso Grupe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vorwärts Lübeck fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blau Weiß Sauerland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
