Liviu Zubaşcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Ibio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Basarab Ioniță's late challenge caught a Paralia Athens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basarab Ioniță helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes bullfinches got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Ioniță. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Zubaşcu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Ibio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Eusebiu Surdilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Ibio came out of the goal and Eusebiu Surdilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nistor Sfetcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iulian Doinaș in the 20th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Paralia Athens's Iulian Doinaș made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Sfetcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liviu Zubaşcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Unai Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Unai Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of bullfinches booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unai Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Liviu Zubaşcu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Ibio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 29th minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Vicente Ibio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eusebiu Surdilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 33rd minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Vicente Ibio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Surdilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vicente Ibio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liviu Zubaşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vicente Ibio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Ibio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Zubaşcu's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the Paralia Athens defense, Liviu Zubaşcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Ibio. The Paralia Athens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Ibio should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Liviu Zubaşcu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Eusebiu Surdilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Ibio came out of the goal and Eusebiu Surdilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Ibio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Zubaşcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ibio having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Edgar Ţopescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Zubaşcu in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Ibio saved Paralia Athens from getting behind. In the 74th minute of the match, Eusebiu Surdilă tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vicente Ibio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Unai Herrera scored 2-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nistor Sfetcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Leonard Chirculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Victor Gugulanu got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Paralia Athens's Vicente Ibio got control of the ball when Mihnea Tomoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liviu Zubaşcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Ibio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liviu Zubaşcu went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded bullfinches left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paralia Athens.
