Lucian Crețulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Siniştean in the 8th minute of play. Codrin Ignat kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Avantul Hirlau's goalkeeper Viorel Dobrițoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codrin Ignat. After 19 played minutes Avantul Hirlau got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Siniştean. After some careless play in the AFC PunisherS™ defense, Alexandru Siniştean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucian Crețulescu. The AFC PunisherS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucian Crețulescu should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, AFC PunisherS™'s Sever Braru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sever Braru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AFC PunisherS™ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sever Braru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of AFC PunisherS™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avantul Hirlau:s goal. Teodor Zmărăndache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandru Siniştean kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Lucian Crețulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Siniştean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Teodor Zmărăndache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandru Siniştean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Crețulescu having to interfere.

The wind increased when Nicolae Dragușin made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Avantul Hirlau's Costin Vasilescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When Pompiliu Șeimeanu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avantul Hirlau's protests and gave Pompiliu Șeimeanu a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, AFC PunisherS™'s Lucian Crețulescu got control of the ball when Alexandru Siniştean tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Dobrițoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codrin Ignat's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Teodor Zmărăndache struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Viorel Dobrițoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC PunisherS™. After some careless play in the Avantul Hirlau defense, Teodor Zmărăndache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viorel Dobrițoiu. The Avantul Hirlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viorel Dobrițoiu should have stopped the shot.
