Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vlad Papadima in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Tilea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Sergiu Coșeriu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Milcu. Juventus Țiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergiu Coșeriu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Radu Păvăloae got a free kick in the 24th minute. Augustin Milcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Blănaru went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Augustin Milcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Sorin Nițescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Academia Rio's Radu Păvăloae made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustin Milcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vlad Papadima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Valentin Maghiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilie Armeanca charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Augustin Milcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Augustin Milcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Dichiseanu lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Augustin Milcu. Avram Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Adrian Blănaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match, Radu Păvăloae tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augustin Milcu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juventus Țiu's Augustin Milcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 89th minute of play. Augustin Milcu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Mihai Oniga sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Oniga got free with Augustin Milcu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Juventus Țiu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Academia Rio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
