In the 11th minute of the match Eliodor Andriescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Ghee skillfully saved the ball. Felix Ghee was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandu Cârlan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felix Ghee but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicodim Irimescu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes AFC Nirosxn 08 got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Irimescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Popescu in the 47th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Felix Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horaţiu Macamete to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute Sandu Cârlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Ivan Baniu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Nirosxn 08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stiinta-Univ. the free kick. 79 minutes into the match, Costel Saşca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Ghee. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costel Saşca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
