Seating: 184, VIP seats: 16) Rein Goethals made the kick off and thus started the match. 11 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Goethals came free, but Adam Vermeiren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Vermeiren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Goethals in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Kevin Cuejvers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dutch Rebels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave de belletrekkers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Kevin Cuejvers got a free kick in the 13th minute. Dutch Rebels's Adam Vermeiren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt de Rudder in the 15th minute of play. Adam Vermeiren came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by de belletrekkers's Kurt de Rudder. But to his dismay, Kurt de Rudder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Baxter De Hond was a little too slow when Obafemi N'Diaye got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Baxter De Hond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Van Den Brande. In the 35th minute, Rein Goethals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Vermeiren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose De Cock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Rein Goethals shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Vermeiren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Rein Goethals had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Vermeiren. Dutch Rebels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rein Goethals was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolf Cappelsmans to make the kick off. Baxter De Hond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Cappelsmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Geoffrey Rompen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Adam Vermeiren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daan Vos in the 59th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Obafemi N'Diaye made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. de belletrekkers's Baxter De Hond tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baxter De Hond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obafemi N'Diaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Rein Goethals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolf Cappelsmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th match minute, de belletrekkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Stevens to maneuver through the defense. de belletrekkers's Baxter De Hond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obafemi N'Diaye in the 76th minute of play. When Rein Goethals fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored de belletrekkers's protests and gave Rein Goethals a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Cappelsmans in the 81st minute of play forced de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Baxter De Hond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kevin Cuejvers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dutch Rebels's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Cuejvers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baxter De Hond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes de belletrekkers got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Van den Gans. Adam Vermeiren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rein Goethals showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 86 minute of play. Adam Vermeiren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rein Goethals in the 92nd minute. Tim Stevens was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dutch Rebels booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Stevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The de belletrekkers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
