The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodney Huston got free with Ragnar Wallander in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bror Skoog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ragnar Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Lilly in the 53rd minute of play. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Myr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rodney Huston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wyoming Cowboys's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodney Huston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ragnar Wallander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Mats McNamara came free, but Ragnar Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wyoming Cowboys's Henning Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Skoog in the 91st minute of play. Ragnar Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats McNamara in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wyoming Cowboys fully deserved thier win.
