The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when Högdalstippen-Highvalley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Högdalstippen-Highvalley's goalkeeper Björn Kaxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Gulliksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Björn Kaxe made a huge save. Jörgen Lundqvist's late challenge caught a Oldham Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörgen Lundqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Jörgen Lundqvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Arman Gregersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Björn Kaxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Bolander in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Oldham Athletic got a corner. Högdalstippen-Highvalley's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximilian Ryberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Björn Kaxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arman Gregersson went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 64 minutes, Arman Gregersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oldham Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Gregersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Björn Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Gregersson in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Harry Svanberg made a precise shot to the right of Björn Kaxe. Högdalstippen-Highvalley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 73rd minute, Arman Gregersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Kaxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Gulliksson in the 81st minute of play forced Högdalstippen-Highvalley's goalkeeper Björn Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Jan Gulliksson notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Högdalstippen-Highvalley's Björn Kaxe. Björn Kaxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
