Thanks to some nice moves Mårten Abrahamsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Sebastian Blomkvist however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Markus Wenerdahl hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Björk in the 14th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Patrick Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MaLe FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Melchester Rovers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. August Målare took the corner. The corner ended in August Målare almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Melchester Rovers's Patrick Samuelsson did a great save. Patrick Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Björk in the 18th minute of the match. MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save MaLe FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute of the match, Kaj Jonasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, Melchester Rovers's Mårten Abrahamsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sebastian Blomkvist made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mårten Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Lägdin in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Abrahamsson got free with Sebastian Blomkvist in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Rolf Algren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thor Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Sebastian Blomkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mårten Abrahamsson in the 37th minute. MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save MaLe FC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes in the game Uno Klementsson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kaj Jonasson. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when MaLe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mårten Abrahamsson made the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Ulf Jakobsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of MaLe FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MaLe FC. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Melchester Rovers. Marc Lägdin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Blomkvist. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Abrahamsson in the 61st minute of play forced MaLe FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Abrahamsson in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Blomkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaj Jonasson went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 72 minutes of play, Melchester Rovers's Juliusz Oliszewski made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Blomkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Mårten Abrahamsson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist. Sebastian Blomkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudio Guerrero's late challenge caught a MaLe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Claudio Guerrero hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Mårten Abrahamsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Blomkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Mats Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Rolf Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 93rd minute of the match Claudio Guerrero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Claudio Guerrero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Claudio Guerrero hit a great ball. August Målare took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrick Samuelsson. Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sebastian Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Oliszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Kaj Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
