To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Menofta's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Svartengren came free, but John Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Lennart Nordmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Arvidsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennart Nordmark went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Aaron Svartengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Arvidsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Nordmark in the 26th minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper John Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
