Conny Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonatan Skark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Lövkvist during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. John Lövkvist hit a great ball. Jonatan Skark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Lindgren in the 39th minute of the match. Jonatan Skark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Beckman in the 41st minute of play. Jonatan Skark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Vesterberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Conny Vesterberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Skark. Newcastle United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newcastle United F.C. reached it. With 61 minutes on the clock, Georg Bank commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Georg Bank hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Rank 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Beckman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Brodin in the 70th minute of play forced Rank 1's goalkeeper Marcus Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaf Högström in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Skark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Beckman went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Gustaf Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Gösta Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Skark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Skark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Beckman in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Rickard Brodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gösta Beckman might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Skark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Beckman ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Skark came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rank 1's Staffan Söderqwist. But to his dismay, Staffan Söderqwist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Rank 1 played a much better game than Newcastle United F.C. and deserved their victory. The Newcastle United F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
