El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolf Pendleton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dale Skinner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jude Vang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonah Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. El Canalla de Chicago's Jude Vang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chandler Bing in the 19th minute of play. Jude Vang came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Chandler Bing. But to his dismay, Chandler Bing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rudolf Pendleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danny Escobedo's late challenge caught a American Airlines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jude Vang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonah Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Couch in the 34th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Jude Vang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, American Airlines's Dale Skinner got control of the ball when Rudolf Pendleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Jonah Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Vang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Bristol's late challenge caught a American Airlines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chandler Bing charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chandler Bing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonah Ryan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jude Vang firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 57th minute Domingo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jonah Ryan in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jude Vang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 67 minutes into the match, Trinidad Khan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jude Vang, 0-2. 71 minutes into the match, Jonah Ryan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jude Vang. El Canalla de Chicago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonah Ryan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. American Airlines's Werner Hemphill was substituted for Trinidad Khan. American Airlines made a substitution. Jose Parker replaced Andrew Ziegler. 76 minutes into the game, Lyuben Karavelov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. American Airlines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. After 76 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Lyuben Karavelov. Werner Hemphill kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Raul Knox fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. El Canalla de Chicago's Jude Vang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save El Canalla de Chicago from getting a goal against them. Jude Vang was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Jonah Ryan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonah Ryan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 87 minutes into the game, Alexis Couch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jude Vang. Alexis Couch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Jonah Ryan scored 0-6 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jude Vang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over American Airlines could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Canalla de Chicago throughout the match.
