Deportivo Rodriguez's Tony Joyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Kidd in the 16th minute of play. Hugo Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tony Joyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Brendan Otto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 26 played minutes Black Knights FC got a freekick which was hit by Cole Kidd. Cole Kidd took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Joyce. Tony Joyce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Deportivo Rodriguez's Tony Joyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Kidd in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute Cole Kidd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Joyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes, Black Knights FC's George Cao Xiao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tony Joyce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Knights FC reached it. If Jon Stapleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Joyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Otto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 65th match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Montano to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Deportivo Rodriguez getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jason Douglas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendan Otto in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Joyce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cole Kidd came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Black Knights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cole Kidd couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Reginald Hartman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Deportivo Rodriguez's Tony Joyce. Tony Joyce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tony Joyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Harrison in the 79th minute of play. Felix Plummer hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tony Joyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Deportivo Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Brendan Otto came free, but Tony Joyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Black Knights FC's Brendan Otto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Joyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jon Stapleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Joyce having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Otto in the 89th minute of play forced Deportivo Rodriguez's goalkeeper Tony Joyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Knights FC played a much better game than Deportivo Rodriguez and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Rodriguez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
