Nicolas Richie spun around in front of the goal 16 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal. After 20 minutes Peluchita Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Gitano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Rio Cuarto's corner Gaston Gitano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogdan Kornatowski quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético Rio Cuarto defense, Cosme Sansone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Lonzo. The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Lonzo should have stopped the shot. Celso Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Richie in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Omar Lovagnini hit a great ball. Celso Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Abaunza in the 31st minute of the match. Angelo Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 0-4 became the score in the 38th minute when Cosme Sansone elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Eulalio Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peluchita Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Lonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Eulalio Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Lonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Roldan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Cosme Sansone struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Celso Lonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peluchita Fc.

The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Lonzo should have stopped the shot. Wiktor Pusiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Celso Lonzo made a huge save. Celso Lonzo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eulalio Abaunza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 62 minute of play. With a little luck, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Celso Lonzo got control of the ball when Eulalio Abaunza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Liher made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wilfredo Cruz. Peluchita Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
