But to his dismay, Cornelio Nikola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfredo Jago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Alonso in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute Cornelio Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
