The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Academia FC's Ignacio Orland got control of the ball when Gil Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Orland made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Paolo Guib sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Orland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Gauargi. 14 minutes into the game, Virgilio Gauargi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ignacio Orland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Gil Godoi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Academia FC's Ignacio Orland. Ignacio Orland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquiles Hechter hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Guillermo Eguen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ignacio Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Gutxi. PGE FC's Cristián Velazquez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ignacio Orland but with some difficulty. Academia FC's Ignacio Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Eguen in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Bartolo Leoiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Orland was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the Academia FC defense, Gil Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Orland. The Academia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Orland should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ignacio Orland. Ignacio Orland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. In the 43rd minute, Guillermo Eguen made a precise shot to the right of Ignacio Orland. Academia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Venancio Maxin got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Leoiar to make the kick off. Conrado Gutxi lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of PGE FC booed when Academia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Viviano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 55 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some careless play in the Academia FC defense, Gil Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Orland. The Academia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Orland should have stopped the shot. Paolo Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Constantino Rodriguez's late challenge caught a PGE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Gil Godoi notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Academia FC's Ignacio Orland. Ignacio Orland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Angelo Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia FC's protests and gave Angelo Ireno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Angelo Ireno got a free kick in the 70th minute. Bartolo Leoiar took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignacio Orland. Ignacio Orland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 76 minutes into the game, Guillermo Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Ignacio Orland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Eguen scored 12-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Orland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Constantino Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Virgilio Gauargi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Orland. Academia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Gauargi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Guillermo Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Leoiar came free, but Ignacio Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Academia FC's zone, Bartolo Leoiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Orland came out of the goal and Bartolo Leoiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PGE FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
