Mauricio Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Restu in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Botello in the 20th minute of play forced FF Forever's goalkeeper Ismael Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Paolo Restu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Botello. Vaqueteros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Restu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gualterio Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Botello having to interfere. Ismael Bakar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Israel Botello's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Leonardo Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Botello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gualterio Restu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 41 minute of play. Abelardo Ieltxu lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Abelardo Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Ezequiel Rencio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Vaqueteros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Rencio couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Luciano Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mauricio Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Botello did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-3 to the left of a surprised Ismael Bakar 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Oinatz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vaqueteros FC booed when FF Forever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Oinatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4-4 became the score in the 66th minute when Luciano Cordario elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Botello in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Bakar saved FF Forever from getting behind. Vaqueteros FC's Israel Botello was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 75 minutes into the match, FF Forever's goalkeeper Ismael Bakar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Botello. Ismael Bakar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vaqueteros FC's Israel Botello shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-6 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Israel Botello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Bakar was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. FF Forever's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-8. Paolo Restu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Restu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, FF Forever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Restu to maneuver through the defense. If Ezequiel Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Vaqueteros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vaqueteros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
