Loco Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gastón Turuk made a great header on New Pi's corner, it was just that Defensores de Lombroso's Loco Gatti managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Goito in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loco Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Goito in the 18th minute of the match. New Pi's Generoso Artizar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loco Gatti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, New Pi's Maximo Godoy got control of the ball when Pelle Haglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to New Pi getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Generoso Artizar hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Herrera came free, but Maximo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Defensores de Lombroso were awarded a corner. Pelle Haglund went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Pelle Haglund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximo Godoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 27th minute Marcelo Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Defensores de Lombroso defense, Marcelo Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Gatti. The Defensores de Lombroso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Gatti should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Angelo Kaiet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Lombroso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Pi the free kick. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Angelo Kaiet hit a great ball. Marcelo Goito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Goito to make the kick off. Ramon Edur hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Loco Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Goito in the 51st minute. New Pi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Generoso Artizar in the 53rd minute. The corner led New Pi's Generoso Artizar to fire away a dangerous shot which Loco Gatti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leonardo Bidun hit a great ball. New Pi's Set Fernando was substituted for Generoso Artizar. In the 67th minute of the game, Szczepan Mitus landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 67 minutes, Benjamin Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Lombroso and the New Pi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Herrera to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Marcelo Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Goito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Loco Gatti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelo Goito took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loco Gatti. Loco Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of New Pi booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Marcelo Goito could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Loco Gatti however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Defensores de Lombroso's Loco Gatti got control of the ball when Marcelo Goito tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Herrera came free, but Maximo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Martxel to maneuver through the defense. The New Pi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
