When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Prospero Olivar took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Nereo Abad to make any attempt to save it. Manfredi AFC's Nereo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Mincho in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Manfredi AFC defense, Antonello Bartolomucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Abad. The Manfredi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Abad should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Gep FC booed when Manfredi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Yılmaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nereo Abad was a little too slow when Antonello Bartolomucci got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 6-0. Nereo Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Antonello Bartolomucci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nereo Abad, 8-0. 47 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Müller came free, but Nereo Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Tiadoro made a kick off.
