Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) C. A. Atlanta's Urbano Benvido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Leonides Pancho hit a great ball. C. A. Atlanta's Federico Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi got control of the ball when Casimiro Erramun tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Gallardeta's Paulo Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Eutropio in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Urbano Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Benvido. 20 minutes into the game, Antonio Aguilera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnoldo Kismi. Antonio Aguilera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Urbano Benvido scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Romelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Aldo Crispo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Aldo Crispo a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Crispo. Federico Gil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Romelio having to make a save. Urbano Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Paulo Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Eliseo Sasoin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi got control of the ball when Casimiro Erramun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Eliseo Sasoin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Erramun made a kick off. C. A. Atlanta's Silverio Eutropio suffered a concussion in the 51st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 51 minutes into the game, Marcos Madeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gallardeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. Marcos Madeo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Benvido came free, but Paulo Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Benvido, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. C. A. Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after La Gallardeta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Federico Gil took the corner. C. A. Atlanta's Elias Orlan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Romelio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Erramun came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Orlan in the 73rd minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Paulo Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Apolo Artizar suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ladislao Gonza fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Ladislao Gonza a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Gonza. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Urbano Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Romelio came out of the goal and Urbano Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Sasoin in the 78th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Sasoin came free, but Paulo Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Bertol was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcos Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Federico Gil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Romelio skillfully saved the ball. Urbano Benvido hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The La Gallardeta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C. A. Atlanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
