Sergio Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Abeijon's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, The Waldos's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Corderun came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Generoso Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Llin. In the 33rd minute, Generoso Abeijon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Herrera got free with Godofredo Carlomagno in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godofredo Carlomagno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Millrick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Pablo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Millrick to make the kick off. Robert-Jan Weedsgaard replaced Bernardino Joachim. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The Waldos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
