Tigre's Arnaldo Lore managed to work through The Waldos's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Arnaldo Lore dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Leandro Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Waldos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Millrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Masao Koriotto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With his leg Kacper Tobias managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when The Waldos's Leandro Millrick fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sergio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Rojelio in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Tigre got a corner. The Waldos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicasio Frans ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Miguel Rojelio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 65th minute, Saverio Perpinya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The Waldos made a substitution. Alphonse Tchami replaced Saturnino Gergori. 70 minutes into the match, The Waldos's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Lore came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, J.J Riquelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Lore scored 5-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillermo Sal charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Sal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
