Severiano Enaut was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the game, one of Arquímedes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Eibar 09-12-18. Elpidio Efren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anastasio Quirce. 0-1. In the 10th minute Bonifacio Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arquímedes's zone, Robustiano Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Quirce came out of the goal and Robustiano Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Evaristo Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Rosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Arquímedes's Anastasio Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Mundo in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th play minute Bernardino Rosio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Justino Abadia. 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Anastasio Quirce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Arquímedes's Hernan Xabat got a free kick in the 67th minute. Anastasio Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arquímedes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bonifacio Mundo 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Bernardino Rosio struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Justino Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arquímedes. In the 94th minute, Hernan Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arquímedes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
