Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 정 만 in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Cerilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Dog F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Osmundo was slow to take the kick. During this time Club El Progreso's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alvaro Osmundo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Cerilo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute, Can Dogo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when 정 만 sped through Black Dog F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonides Cerilo. In the 12th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anana Piña to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Miguel Janpier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Cordobé in the 24th minute of play forced Black Dog F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonides Cerilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, 정 만 notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Black Dog F.C.'s Leonides Cerilo. Leonides Cerilo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Black Dog F.C.'s zone, Alvaro Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Cerilo came out of the goal and Alvaro Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Marco Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Milei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Hunfredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Javier Milei made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Black Dog F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Tristan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Black Dog F.C. defense, 정 만 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Cerilo. The Black Dog F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Cerilo should have stopped the shot. The Black Dog F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club El Progreso were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Jerico to strike the kick off in the second half. Club El Progreso's Javier Milei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Hunfredo in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Black Dog F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano Rojo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Club El Progreso's Miguel Janpier got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Miguel Janpier off the ground. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Miguel Janpier hit a great ball. Saturnino Hunfredo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Javier Milei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Dog F.C.. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Hunfredo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Milei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Milei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Black Dog F.C.'s Cayetano Jerico managed to work through Club El Progreso's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cayetano Jerico dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 69 minutes into the match, Black Dog F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonides Cerilo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anana Piña. Cirilo Tristan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Club El Progreso's Javier Milei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Hunfredo in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Hunfredo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Milei saved Club El Progreso from getting behind. 정 만 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Cerilo came out and tried to block the shot, but 정 만 slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 84th minute. When Saturnino Hunfredo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Dog F.C.'s protests and gave Saturnino Hunfredo a yellow card for diving instead. Javier Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Transito in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Jerico in the 91st minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Henric came free, but Javier Milei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Astor Cai hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes, Bruno Maxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club El Progreso and the Black Dog F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Maxin. In the 97th minute Saturnino Hunfredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Milei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club El Progreso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
