Uriel Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Mitxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Eztebe made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Eztebe came free, but Atilano Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes, Laureano Eztebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Margarita and the La Gallardeta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laureano Eztebe hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Roberto Gorosti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Gallardeta the free kick. Christian Garaile's late challenge caught a Santa Margarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Laureano Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Eztebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Jeremias Malvin got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Eriberto Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Hernandez came out of the goal and Eriberto Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Eztebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Roque Jon. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Laureano Eztebe put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Atilano Hernandez. 90 minutes into the game, Robustiano Lizardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Atilano Hernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Margarita fully deserved thier win.
