Taci Argün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Pedro Urdaspal made a huge save. Pedro Urdaspal was a little too slow when Augusto Xabier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Pedro Urdaspal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Rocky Balboa F.C. from getting a goal against them. 2-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Taci Argün elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pedro Urdaspal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taci Argün went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 18 played minutes Rocky Balboa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Avellaneda. Pedro Urdaspal was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Honorio Sanchez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Honorio Sanchez really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Augusto Xabier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Urdaspal came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Xabier slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 25th minute. In the 31st match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Taci Argün notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Pedro Urdaspal. Pedro Urdaspal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the game, Taci Argün cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Pedro Urdaspal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taci Argün to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Rocky Balboa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Tabb. When Taci Argün fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Magallanes's protests and gave Taci Argün a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Rocky Balboa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Avellaneda. Pedro Urdaspal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Sanchez went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Rocky Balboa F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lucio Tab hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Club Atlético Magallanes's Fernan Bonifaco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Urdaspal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Magallanes reached it. Pedro Urdaspal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taci Argün went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute Honorio Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Rocky Balboa F.C. defense, Taci Argün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Urdaspal. The Rocky Balboa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Urdaspal should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Taci Argün put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Urdaspal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Avellaneda during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Rocky Balboa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rocky Balboa F.C.'s zone, Honorio Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Urdaspal came out of the goal and Honorio Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Urdaspal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Pedro Urdaspal came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Magallanes's Augusto Xabier. But to his dismay, Augusto Xabier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. 95 minutes into the match, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Taci Argün came free, but Pedro Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Honorio Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético Magallanes had played much better football throughout.
