Jeremias Gaueko scored 4-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Ignatius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Aquiles Bieito took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Amancio Ignatius to make any attempt to save it. Amancio Ignatius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Uxio in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Soda f c's Enzo Otoniel got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Gervasio Lidon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Amancio Ignatius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Uxio came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amancio Ignatius could save by the left post. In the 46th minute Teobaldo Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Augusto Emenon made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sacro Balompié booed when Soda f c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Aquiles Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacro Balompié's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Bieito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Ignatius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Ignatius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Iker Shepherd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Ignatius was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Aquiles Bieito took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Ignatius. The Sacro Balompié fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 83 minutes into the game, Sacro Balompié's René Houseman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Ignatius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Amancio Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Houseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
