Unión y Progreso Tandil's Jude Carey-Bertram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Rik in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Rik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Carey-Bertram was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The Hurboc fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Hurboc's Bernardo Rik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Rik in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jude Carey-Bertram prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benja Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jude Carey-Bertram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Unión y Progreso Tandil's Alejo Panpili got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Unión y Progreso Tandil's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Rik came free, but Jude Carey-Bertram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Bernardo Rik notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Unión y Progreso Tandil's Jude Carey-Bertram. Jude Carey-Bertram was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Leonardo Ritchie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hurboc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Urtungo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hurboc booed when Unión y Progreso Tandil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Panpili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jude Carey-Bertram, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 65th minute, Hurboc's Bernardo Rik dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Hurboc's John Wick was substituted for Benja Dominguez. Jacinto Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Urtungo in the 71st minute of play. A hard shot 79 in the game by Bernardo Rik from a close distance when the talented Jude Carey-Bertram managed to make a qualified save. Unión y Progreso Tandil's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Unión y Progreso Tandil's Leonides Salamon got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Hurboc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. When the match was over Hurboc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unión y Progreso Tandil throughout the match.
