The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Madeo got free with Hipolito Jerrold in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Electric Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Che might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Jerrold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Che ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Jaunzuria came free, but Cipriano Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes, Carolo Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Electric Futbol Club and the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Electric Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Etxepare. In the 25th minute Daniel Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Jerrold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 29 played minutes Electric Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Ospetsu. A collision led to Electric Futbol Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. 56 minutes into the game, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Modesto Leheren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Jerrold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nicolas Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Daniel Madeo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's protests and gave Daniel Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes of play Electric Futbol Club's Angelo Santio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Electric Futbol Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. If Alvaro Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Electric Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
