The referee ignored Locademia's protests and gave Enzo Haimar a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Izotz in the 8th minute of play. Vicente Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Caradaro in the 12th minute of the match. If Haroldo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jairo Izotz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Rami. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Haroldo Caradaro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Rami. 42 minutes into the match, Locademia's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Tello came free, but Vicente Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Caradaro in the 45th minute of play forced Locademia's goalkeeper Vicente Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Enaut in the 46th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Silvio Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Llorian made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Haroldo Caradaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Caradaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
