The audience thought a goal was coming when Łukasz Surma got free with Szczepan Indyk in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. INTER Sosnowiec's Szczepan Indyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save INTER Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. Szczepan Indyk made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ziemowit Bierfass sent off a good shot on target. Radoslaw Kiewra hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Barnaba Gendolla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Łukasz Surma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Szczepan Indyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Ziemowit Bierfass got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Łukasz Surma to strike the kick off in the second half. INTER Sosnowiec's Szczepan Indyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Kasprzykowski in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in INTER Sosnowiec's zone, Ziemowit Bierfass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szczepan Indyk came out of the goal and Ziemowit Bierfass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, The Irons Chorzów's Gwidon Popowicz got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Klement Kasprzykowski came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the The Irons Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klement Kasprzykowski couldn't finish the play. Szczepan Indyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Kiewra in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Radoslaw Kiewra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Irons Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 90th minute, Łukasz Surma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Szczepan Indyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a rather tough play, INTER Sosnowiec's Janusz Klucznik got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the The Irons Chorzów players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
