In the 13th minute Karol Biskupiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Zbikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Witold Majkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Topolski struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ludomir Cuber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito. A collision led to Joga Bonito getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ziemowit Brzonkala hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Majkowski came free, but Iwan Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Jarocewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Dobromir Bronder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Biskupiak in the 37th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Iwan Hryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Karol Biskupiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Hryc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Witold Majkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Hryc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Zagłębie Dąbrowskie were awarded a corner. 庞延然 went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's 庞延然 to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Hryc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Zagłębie Dąbrowskie were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Artur Topolski made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Topolski to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Biskupiak came free, but Iwan Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Witold Majkowski put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Iwan Hryc. Iwan Hryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Majkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71st play minutes Karol Biskupiak shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Iwan Hryc and just under the crossbar into goal. When Joga Bonito's Artur Topolski in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Topolski in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomir Cuber saved Zagłębie Dąbrowskie from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Majkowski came free, but Iwan Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Hryc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Majkowski in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dobromir Bronder got free with Iwan Hryc in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Majkowski came free, but Iwan Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 庞延然 in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Witold Majkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Hryc came out of the goal and Witold Majkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
