The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Lejf Brinkbo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gunvald Glarkrog. Gabriel Van Dyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Hafjall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 8 minutes on the clock, Piet Kesje commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 9th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piet Kesje to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Uggeløse SIK's Paul-Émile Larousse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunvald Glarkrog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gunvald Glarkrog made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Asmund Rundkvist sent off a good shot on target. Gunvald Glarkrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asmund Rundkvist in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lejf Brinkbo in the 16th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Timo Rokmann got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asmund Rundkvist. In the 19th minute, Uggeløse SIK's Asmund Rundkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. Gunvald Glarkrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lejf Brinkbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Hagbard Ribov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Van Dyck was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Strib Galacticos IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Asmund Rundkvist scored to the left of an out of position Gunvald Glarkrog, making the score, 3-1. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lejf Brinkbo in the 35th minute of play. Raycho Groshkov made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Strib Galacticos IF's Sivart Djursgård. In the 38th minute Hagbard Ribov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Van Dyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Eske Aggervild sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Van Dyck skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Gunvald Glarkrog successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

66 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lejf Brinkbo came free, but Gunvald Glarkrog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asmund Rundkvist in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunvald Glarkrog saved Strib Galacticos IF from getting behind. After 72 minutes Strib Galacticos IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paul-Émile Larousse who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Paul-Émile Larousse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog did a great save. Lejf Brinkbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Wenike in the 78th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Wenike in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunvald Glarkrog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Van Dyck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hagbard Ribov, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Uggeløse SIK's Alex Wenike in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
