In the 7th minute, Nicolas Cenzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Iruegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goizeder Abeita in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Abaunza in the 19th minute of play forced SC SU-57's goalkeeper Jon Iruegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, SC SU-57 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Suarbol to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chupeño's Rojelio Abastas got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Chupeño's zone, Claudinei Suarbol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Avellaneda came out of the goal and Claudinei Suarbol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valentin Abar hit a great ball. SC SU-57's Erasmo Irizar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Irizar came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Agustin Avellaneda could save by the left post. Agustin Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Cenzano in the 41st minute of play. Goizeder Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC SU-57's Jon Iruegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Abar in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Nicolas Cenzano made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chupeño's Hugo Abajas got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakue Llave in the 59th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benicio Muzquiz fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC SU-57's protests and gave Benicio Muzquiz a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Cenzano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute of the match Sportivo Chupeño got a corner. SC SU-57's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Senin Abellaneda ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Goizeder Abeita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jon Iruegas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leon Abenda hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Nicolas Cenzano hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Goizeder Abeita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Agustin Avellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Irizar in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of SC SU-57 booed when Sportivo Chupeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Erasmo Irizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Abajas got free with Jon Iruegas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
