An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Cebada in the 18th minute of play forced Programayin's goalkeeper Bonifacio Pecina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txema Urbistondo to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Oxel Viñales made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Pecina was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Cebada in the 33rd minute of play forced Programayin's goalkeeper Bonifacio Pecina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Matteo Enriquez kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ivan Cebada made the kick off in the second half. Matteo Enriquez's late challenge caught a Monitor Huáscar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matteo Enriquez helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Programayin got a freekick which was hit by Matteo Enriquez. Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monitor Huáscar! The referee gave Programayin a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ugaitz Ompanera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monitor Huáscar's Johans Ortubia. 2-2. In the 61st minute, Medardo Pombo made a precise shot to the right of Bonifacio Pecina. Programayin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Monitor Huáscar's Steven Fortis was substituted for Ovidio Varez. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Jonathan Molino replaced Medardo Pombo. Bonifacio Pecina made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ivan Cebada sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Molino might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Pecina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Molino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Ivan Cebada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Pecina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Macerio Erruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johans Ortubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Molino struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Bonifacio Pecina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monitor Huáscar. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Jonathan Molino got a free kick in the 79th minute. Steven Fortis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Pecina having to interfere. If Ivan Cebada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Monitor Huáscar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
