With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Rienda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Rienda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucero Odín, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Amancio Rienda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucero Odín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Colon Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Rienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firman Salan took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Rienda. Amancio Rienda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lucas Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekain Obis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria got a freekick which was hit by Lucero Odín. 25 minutes into the game, Baldemar Velazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Ciudad de Soria the free kick. C.D. Ciudad de Soria made a substitution. Maximiliano Sans replaced Egoi Urruti. With a little luck, Atlético Maravilla's Amancio Rienda got control of the ball when Lucero Odín tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to C.D. Ciudad de Soria getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aintza Cienfuegos hit a great ball. Amancio Rienda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucero Odín showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Lucero Odín got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amancio Rienda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th minute, Firman Salan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Rienda was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 47th minute, Aintza Cienfuegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ireno Aceves to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Jordi Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Rienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.D. Ciudad de Soria getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lisandro Alcaraz hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, C.D. Ciudad de Soria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtzi Canyelles to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Ireno Aceves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ireno Aceves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xofre Pareja's late challenge caught a C.D. Ciudad de Soria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xofre Pareja helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Atlético Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Xofre Pareja. In the 67th minute Firman Salan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Rienda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eguzki Casero kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Colon Rico scored 6-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Rienda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firman Salan in the 80th minute of play forced Atlético Maravilla's goalkeeper Amancio Rienda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, C.D. Ciudad de Soria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilixo Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Urtzi Canyelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ireno Aceves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the C.D. Ciudad de Soria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
